I really wanted a masculine feel to the dresser with a rustic industrial flare.

After painting, attaching the top, and adding the hardware it was ready to get to work!
It has so much lego storage! Not that we don't have enough lego storage already! http://www.mylove2create.com/2016/01/a-lego-table-for-kids-and-for-mom.html Of course it doesn't have to hold legos it can hold anything you want!
I actually ended up making two dressers, I know, I am crazy! With two teenage boys in a super small room, I am realizing that with great storage options they can keep it clean! So far it has been working! I made this one a bit smaller by omitting the top row of drawers.
It was well worth the effort and my boys love them! So if you need some extra shoe storage for your kids room, mud room, or entryway this is a great DIY project to fix your problem, I have written up free plans which you can get on my blog! And Guess what?! I MADE the hardware! Yep!
