I wanted a high end look on a DIY budget and found that wood shims were very reasonably priced at around $1.70 a package. I snapped up a whole bunch and had some paint samples mixed up and headed home to start gluing these suckers together!Although my master bedroom has one large mirror the room stays relatively dark. I like light, airy spaces so mirrors help to bounce the light around making me a lot happier with the space.
When purchasing your shims be sure to grab wood shims and not composite ones.
Shims are glued together.
