DIY Computer Diskette Pencil Cup

Anyone else remember computer diskettes? I found two boxes of them on Freecycle and knew I just had to do something with them. I have a family of engineers and tech fans (perhaps even computer nerds) and so I had to find a creative use for them and a pencil holder seemed perfect.

You'll need four diskettes for each pencil holder. You'll also need hot glue and cardboard.





I found making a cardboard box base made the pencil holder more stable than just gluing the diskettes to each other.





It only takes about 10-15 minutes to put this pencil holder together. My family was thrilled with their computer diskette pencil holders.
