DIY Half Bathroom Redo

Goodbye 1980s, hello gorgeous! A little paint (ok, a lot of paint...), some new fixtures and accessories really made a huge difference in this tiny bathroom. We were able to update it for under $400, which was more than what I initially planned to spend but in the end, it was worth it.

I love before and after pictures! It's crazy to see the differences side by side. This half bathroom is right off our kitchen, has zero windows and leads into our laundry room. We get a lot of use out of this space so it was definitely in need of an update.

We got rid of the 1980s seashell sink/countertop and replaced it with one we found at our local Habitat for Humanity Restore for $37!

We took out the old medicine cabinet and replaced it with a mirror from Home Goods and the shelf above the toilet is from Target.

I found a narrow plate shelf at a local antique store which was the perfect fit for the empty wall adjacent to the sink/toilet. It's only a few inches wide so it was perfect for a few decorative bottles and baskets to hold essential oils.

Accessorizing was the fun part as I tried finding things that would look good but still serve some sort of function. I didn't always succeed but I'm really happy with how everything turned out!
