Quick and Easy Bunting Using Denim

I'm a bit of a hoarder, I will admit it. The problem is, I just never know when I may be inspired to create something and I need this or that. I was really glad I hung onto my daughter's out-grown denim shorts and jeans because I was inspired to make a sweet bunting using her jeans pockets! Denim is a classic and there's something so cute about the pockets!

This quick and easy project took all of..oh, 5 minutes or so! The hardest (and longest part) was finding all the jeans I wanted to use!





All I did was cut the pockets off, which was easy to do with a sharp pair of scissors!





I grabbed some jute cord and mini clothespins, and in no time had a darling bunting that would be perfect for parties, showers, or any time of the year!
The pockets themselves are still intact, so it was easy to stick a quick diy flower inside one of the pockets. Just think what you could fill the pockets with...bits of lace or bandanas, notes or cards, lollipops, whatever your heart desires and whatever suits the theme you are decorating for! I hope you're inspired to use those sweet pockets you may have laying around the house!
