Cottage Style Small Bathroom Remodel

I had a very ugly, worn out bathroom and a very small budget for a full gut and remodel so I tackled the work myself. I had to move every fixture to get the best layout for the space which meant I had to hire a plumber to run new lines. I hired an electrician as well to replace the old 1930s wiring but I did everything else myself - I even installed a window! I couldn't be happier with the results.

I shopped for discounts on my fixtures. I took my time, bought what I wanted when it went on sale and saved a lot of money.

I built a set of shutters out of pre-primed pine boards to use as a window treatment - total cost $40.
