Decoupage Antique Desk Makeover

This was another great desk I was able to found of craigslist. Drove 40 minutes away to get it. It was in excellent condition. After, sitting in garage for a few days. I finally decided it was going to be decoupage.

I really wanted to stain the top but sadly the was not real wood! Bummer. Only, choice was to paint the whole desk. I decided to go with black and thanks to my husband gave me my early Christmas gift. He got me a spray paint gun.

He ended up painting this desk for me. Well, he was spray painting I was working on the drawers.

Using mod podge and sealer after. This desk came out great but I think it would of looked sweeter if I was able to stain the top.
