DIY Projects For Home Decorating: Redone Piano Bench

My husband found a free old piano bench by the side of the road and brought it home. It was in fairly good shape but had several layers of paint and even some old glue. There were hunks of wood missing from various parts of the edges. I plan to use it on my front porch and wanted something that looked a little different.

I couldn't get the top to look right and changed my mind several times. I finally decided to cover it with paintable wallpaper. I stained the wallpaper using wood stain the color I wanted and glued it on top. I plan to use it outside so put a sealer on it so it will be weatherproofed.
