We love to decorate with flea market finds in the garden, so when we found a shabby chic window we knew we wanted to use it outdoors. We decided to etch it with butterflies and flowers. It looks so pretty in the sun light and it creates a little privacy too!
We started by picking out the window. It was less than $20 at the flea market. We've seen cheaper ones, but this one was the perfect size and it was already painted a chippy blue!
To create the design, we cut stickers from contact paper. Then we coated the window with etch cream. (To see how long to leave on the etch cream and tips about applying it, check out the complete instructions on our blog linked below.)
Once the cream had set, we rinsed it off. And voila! Our etched window turned out so amazing!
To see the complete how-to, including how to make your own stickers and how hang the window, come over to our blog. We have all kinds of flea market projects. And remember we are always available if you have any questions. Just leave us a comment and we'll reply! Cheers, Jennifer & Kitty, The O'Neil Sisters
